Goals of Community Behavior

LMS Commitment:

To establish a learning community that encourages integrity and respect;

fostering confidence and leadership for the purpose of creating a better school.

OUR COMMON PRINCIPLES:

Our interest in the acceptance of each community member encourages us to
appreciate and honor individual diversity of our members and their families.

Our regard for the worth of each community member encourages us to
respect, support and value each member of the community.

Our interest and caring for one another, encourages responsibility for the

 success of our students, support of each other, and support of our community.

CREED:
We acknowledge that we have a vested interest in the advancement of our students, staff, families, and community.

We are committed to creating a "Better Me" through enhancing the self-esteem of students, staff and families.

We choose to utilize the pro-active approach of reaching a person's inner-being to empower the school community

and create a "Better School".

  Comments from students and teachers:
"Better Me, Better School' shows us how to work together to reach the same goal, to respect others, and be ourselves. It encourages us to do what's right in all circumstances. That's sometimes very hard because you know it may not be popular…those who stand with you and do what's right are really your true friends.

This program is helpful for students and teachers. It helps to build relationships and help students to understand that they have advocates. Overall, "Better Me, Better School" informs students and staff that we have expectations of future success.
