 Vice President Richard Diaz is a former member of the city's Planning Board. Employed as the city's Acting Police Chief keeps Diaz involved in everyday activities in Passaic's law enforcement. Prior to his over two decades of service to the police department, Diaz served in the U.S. Marine Corps. For the 2012-13 school year, Diaz will chair the Athletics and District Operations Committee. In the past, he has served on mostly all of the board committees. His main objective is once again serving the board to help improve education and give credit to employees who do a good job for the children in the city of Passaic. A graduate of Passaic High School's Class of 1983, Richard Diaz holds his former high school close to heart. With the students at the forefront, he plans to work diligently to see that they are provided with a safe school environment coupled with an excellent educational agenda.
