FOCUS STATEMENT

Aschool wide effort to have all #3 students show measurable growth in comprehension and communication (reading, writing, listening, speaking, viewing), by utilizing various multisensory techniques that incorporate language development strategies, as measured by state and district standardized tests as well as benchmark/chapter tests and teacher made tests.

****Remember 3 positive statements for every one correction.

Stick to your schedules.  Be where you are scheduled to be, doing what you are supposed to be doing.

******Keep your voices down in the Main Office & do not hold conversations in the main office.

 ******Do not congregate in the main office or sit in the lobby chairs during breaks, preps or lunch.

******Any memo that gets sent home to parents must be signed by an administrator.

GENERAL NOTICES


 

Please DO NOT call out.  We need you here!

 

●Do not put in for a Personal Day before or after a break.  We cannot approve them

 

● Sign yourself out after you dismiss your class……do not wait until later on ~ the door may be locked 

 

● Substitute plans must be on teacher’s desk in view

 

● Please keep student “issues” confidential

 

● Please keep faculty room neat and clean

 

● Review fire drill procedures / code RED & code ORANGE with the class

 

●Teach Being: Respectful, Responsible and Ready

 

● Teach routines.  Do not let up!  Students must walk in hallways respectfully *********

 

● Be on time picking up children after lunch periods and specials 

 

● Students need black sneakers for gym and school uniforms include shirts with collars ~ No T-shirts

 

● Teacher’s check your mailboxes in the AM and PM as well as lunch or preps time

 

*******Do Not congregate in the main office.  Secretaries have a lot of work to do ********

 

● Teachers must be nice to each other ~ were all we’ve got!

 

● Teachers must take attendance every morning by 8:40 AM
